This document is a descriptive analysis of the anthropological linguistic and cultural differences of terminology related to the field of tourism. These differences are the outcome of a comparable corpus analysis of the French and Spanish languages of France and Colombia respectively. This corpus compiles texts of the written language available on the Internet in these two tongues. The purpose of this project is to contribute in the creation of a cultural French and Spanish dictionary. The methodology used for this research is the corpus analysis, which allows to carry out a comparative study of written language samples of French and Spanish through tools such as: frequencies, concordances and placements; thus, enabling to select and to analyze linguistic and cultural variations of a group of words associated to the topics of accommodation, transportation and vacations. The results of the analysis suggest that the methodology used in this research facilitates the comparative study of languages, making possible to examine aspects of syntax, semantics and cultural context; hence, showing the similarities or differences between the languages here examined. Moreover, that the inclusion of the topic of tourism in a cultural dictionary favors the learning of the French language and cultural immersion for Spanish speakers.
