Resumen: | During recent years, the study of emotions in relation to different areas has become a meaningful concept in the discussion of which aspects affect behavior and understanding of people. This article presents the results a research that analyzed some instruments for identifying and analyzing emotions in relations to colors used in a serious game that attempts to develop communicative, digital and intercultural competences. The fundamental aim of the research was to identify the emotions the comic of the videogame produces on the participants that interact with it, to detect the colors the participants relate with each emotions, and finally to analyze the relation among colors and emotions in the context of the video game. A qualitative exploratory study approach was used, applying a survey and an interview to collect data among Modern Langu8ages students. It was possible to conclude that the color sensations perceived, often are given by a reminder of a specific feeling when they performing a specific action during the video game, nevertheless there similarities between the emotions are perceived for each color by the players, it is emotions such as anxiety, uncertainty and mystery, the most popular among respondents.
